Maui Hawaii Culture
Haleakala National Park
The Park preserves the outstanding volcanic landscape of the upper slopes of Haleakala on the island of Maui and protects the unique and fragile ecosystems of Kipahulu Valley, the scenic pools along Oheo Gulch, and many rare and endangered species.
Lahaina Town
Often called the "jewel in the crown of Maui", Lahaina is a destination that two million or 83% of all Maui visitors experience.  Annually, Lahaina is the second most visited spot on Maui after beaches.  Our challenge, as the caretakers of this legacy, is to continue to support compatible tourism while protecting Lahaina's unique cultural and natural resources and sustaining the livability of our community.
Hana Arts
Hana Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Hana, Maui, Hawaii, exists to encourage and perpetuate arts and cultural opportunities for Hana youth, and to improve the overall quality of life for the Hana community.
Maui Arts & Cultural Center
From hula to symphony, paintings to taiko drumming, ballet to children's art, slack key guitar to Chinese acrobats to popular singers, The Center celebrates the richness of the cultural diversity that converges on Maui, the creativity that springs from artists of all ages, and the variety of arts disciplines that keep our stages and galleries exciting.
Maui Ocean Center
Take a journey of discovery at Maui Ocean Center. This state-of-the-art marine park on the island of Maui is the only facility in the world dedicated to fostering understanding, wonder and respect for Hawaii’s marine life. Here, visitors can see spectacular live coral displays (the largest collection in the nation), marvel at elusive garden eels and majestic lionfish, muse at the colorful Hawaiian wrasse, enjoy playful swimming displays by Hawaii's beloved green sea turtles and awe at close encounters with sharks, rays and more – while learning about Hawaii's natural history and cultural heritage.
